The event was created by Cathie Cowell for 150 students at University of the West of England, Bristol aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Inspire our students. Our young people are a complete social mix from all over South Gloucestershire on the NCS journey of self discovery.

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
