Event description

Inspire our students/ Careers Event

Hi,

I’m writing in the hope that you will be able to support our CareersEvening in Knox Academy, Haddington on Monday 29 January, 6 - 8pm.

This is the first time we have organised an event like this where many partnering organisations will have a small stall in our assembly area and be available to answer questions from pupils (S1-6) and parents/carers. The aim is to increase pupil knowledge about careers/further education opportunities and help pupils making informed choices. In addition, one of our school priorities this year is to "foster an ethos of ambition" which this event will hopefully help us achieve.

The event will be run in our large school assembly hall and school will provide some refreshments for any organisation representatives able to attend.

The structure of the event is fairly loose and organisations will be free to discuss what their job involves and the types of opportunities available within the organisation.

I would appreciate if you could confirm whether this is something that your organisation would be interested in supporting at your earliest convenience.

If you have questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Regards,
