About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Gillian Lochore for 300 students at Borestone Primary School aged Age 8 - 12.

Event description

Inspire our students

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.
This will be the launch of our technologies project. The speaker will motivate and inspire our pupils to want to investigate technologies as part of our whole school innovation nation project. We want the speaker to get the children about how technology has evolved over time and what it might be like in the future.
Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.
