Event description
Come join our CareerConnect Fair at Newcastle High on 22 March 2018.
Newcastle High School for Girls is hosting a CareerConnect Fair on Thursday 22 March 2018 and we wish to invite representatives from a range of occupational areas to participate. Girls and parents from Years 9 to 13 will be attending.
The aim of our CareerConnect Fair is to allow pupils to gather information to help them make an informed decision about their choice of career. It provides them with a wonderful opportunity to discuss career options with a range of specialists.
The event will begin at 4:00pm and will end at approximately 6:30pm.
I am writing to ask if you would be willing to provide one or two people who would represent career opportunities in your company. It will be an informal event where the girls will come in small groups, rotating around the tables/stalls, hopefully finding out about what you do, what qualifications you need and hopefully get an insight into a career they might never have considered. Refreshments will be provided.
We will produce a booklet on the evening describing each of the business or professions we have represented, so we ask if you can send a 500 word description in advance.
