Event description

Employer/Industry Insight Brunch with our S3/4 Girls to improve STEM job uptake

We will be holding an employer brunch on the morning of Thursday 1st February. This event will involve our S3/4 girls who are taking Science and/or Technology subjects with the aim being that we can increase their exposure of the STEM career pathways that they may choose to follow in the future. Students will be doing a 'carousel' around the different tables to ask guests about their jobs, experiences and how they got to their current position.

We are aiming for the pupils to have a much greater appreciation of the need to continue their STEM subjects going into S4 and beyond in order to help get more young women entering the professions of this field.

As it is a brunch, we will provide refreshments and food throughout the event!
