Event description

St Modan's High School Careers Fair

St Modan’s High School is committed to ensuring that all our young people enter a positive and sustained post-school destination. We strive to improve outcomes for all by developing self-belief, self-awareness, resilience and confidence as well as key employability skills. We encourage all our young people to plan and prepare for their future and to explore all opportunities and career paths. We seek to develop their knowledge of the labour market, widen their horizons and develop their career management skills. We aim to ensure that all our young people are prepared for the transition to a positive post-school destination and understand the skills and attributes that today’s employers seek.

We need your help! As our young people prepare to make important choices about their course of study, we wish to encourage them to make informed choices and consider their future pathways.

Students will have the opportunity to informally approach lots of different employers, talk to them personally and ask questions. This is a great way for students to experience a wide range of businesses in their local community and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.

We will host our event in our new Vocational Training Centre. This event will allow you to engage with your future workforce whilst giving you the opportunity to see the exciting and innovative ways that we aim to develop the young workforce. We are keen to develop our business partnerships and explore how your business could contribute to our vision.
