The event was created by Karen Withey for 100 students at Stirling High School aged Age 12 - 18.
Event description
Inspire our students
Our school is planning a STEM mathematics day. We would like to involve as many students as possible from 1st year (11 years old) up to 6th year (17 years old).
We would like an activity for each year group.
Instead of a careers orientated approach we would like activities relating to peoples jobs that has a problem solving element that pupils can work through. It would be preferable if these activities could have some mathematical content or related to mathematics in some way. In the past we have had SEPA, Leonardo Defence and others coming in.
The session should last for 50 min to 100 min.
