Event description

Inspire our students
would like a speaker who speaks about their journey through their career the importance of persevering and not given up.

A successful business leader can inspire a group of students by talking in-depth about the journey they took from school through their career. This format usually includes one business leader talking for an extended period of time.

A business leader can ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Why they find it high impact
• What they enjoy most about their career
• What subjects did the study and what decisions did they make along the way
• What mistakes did they make and how did they learn from them
• What skills is their company currently looking for in their new hires

As the Keynote Career speech generally have less business leaders, the speakers can offer a more focussed, in-depth and comprehensive discussion. They will take students through their entire journey and reflect on their successes and failures in the world of employment. There will also be a Q&A session so that students can ask their own questions.

These meaningful encounters inspire students and have a positive impact on their future life choices. We would like a speaker for our assembly which has a duration of 15.20 minutes. Someone who can speak about the importance of not giving up, realising the failing is part of life and a great learning curve and how one can achieve if hard work, determination and passion is followed. this will be a whole school assembly which involves all year groups.

We are a small independent school in Hadley wood. We would like this speech to appeal to our younger students as well as our older ones.
