Event description

Come join our Careers Fair

Axe Valley Academy are planning to hold a Careers Fair on March 1st 2018 and would love you to be involved promoting your sector to our students.
We envisage opening to the upper school from 2.30pm, with teachers allowing time during their last lesson of the day for students to circulate and ask questions.

All students and parents would then be welcome to attend during the remainder of the afternoon and early evening, closing by 6.30pm.

The event will take place in the Main Hall where refreshments will be available.

It would be great to have as many different vocations represented as possible as our year 8 students will be deciding on their GCSE options, our year 10 and 12 students considering their summer work experience placements and our year 11 students looking at post 16 opportunities.

If you think you would be able to join us, please let me know so that I can reserve you a space. Also, please feel free to pass this invitation to other people you know who might also be willing to attend or pass me their contact information so that I can extend the invitation to them personally.

I look forward to hearing from you and thank you in advance for considering this great opportunity

It is important to note that there should be no expectations of any job opportunities being offered by business leaders at our careers fair as this is purely a great way for students to identify a wide range of career opportunities in their local community and beyond and for businesses to begin to build their talent pipeline.
