Event description

Inspire our students

This is an event for all of our S5 pupils and will be held in the assembly hall.

The S5 pupils are currently planning and preparing for a work placement week on the 20th Nov. It would be good if they could get an idea of various different careers and the types of skills and attributes that employers are looking for.

A story about your individual career journeys would be good:
• Subjects studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired you to choose their career path
• failures, as well as successes (how have you built resilience?)
• What your company does and why this is important
• What you enjoy most about your career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs you are doing now.

We hope that the event will motivate and inspire our pupils whilst giving them a better understanding of different career options.
