About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by James Timmons for 50 students at Bannockburn High School aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Inspire our students

In this session, business leaders will share insights, lessons and tips to motivate and inspire your students to make informed decisions about their future.

Speakers will ‘tell a story’ about their career journey:
• Subjects they studied and how these are relevant now
• What inspired them to choose their career path
• Their failures, as well as successes
• What their company does and why this is important
• What they enjoy most about their career
• Skills currently relevant in the jobs they are doing now.

Would it be possible to have business leaders from the Science and Technology sector. They would be speaking to pupils in S5/6 who are undertaking Higher courses in these subject areas.
