Event description

Inspire our National 5 Retailing students

Develop the skills of young people helping them to develop broader understanding relating to gaining and sustaining employment. We have a group of 20 brilliant young people currently studying a National 5 in Retailing (equivalent to a Standard Grade General/Credit qualification) . Part of the requirement of this course is to experience 1:1 and group interviews to gain confidence and skills to succeed in the future. We are looking for a number of business leaders with experience of recruitment and selection to mentor this small group, giving practical interview advice and 1:1 and group mock interviews. Ideally, business leaders would be available to revisit the group for one further event later in the year to offer support and encouragement as the young people develop in experience and confidence.
