About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Natasha Davies for 300 students at Wigston Academy aged Age 15 - 16.

Event description

Inspire our students

In these sessions, business leaders hold mock interviews, which are an emulation of a job interview used for training purposes. The exercise usually resembles a real interview as closely as possible, for the purpose of providing a learning experience for students.

There are approximately 250 students in Year 11 and they will hopefully meet with business leaders one-to-one all based in the same hall. The mock interviews will hopefully last about 8-10 mins, with some time for feedback at the end of each interview. The students will have prepared ahead of time and understand this is a great learning opportunity to practice their skills and build their confidence. They will hopefully bring a copy of their CV with them to the mock interview as well.
