About the Business Leaders

These business leaders have been chosen because their companies are growing quickly.

About the teacher and students

The event was created by Martin Macmillan for 25 students at McLaren High School aged Age 16 - 17.

Event description

Inspire our students

A small group of S6 pupils are seeking to spend some of their free periods working on a variety of individual and group projects, mainly focused on Computing Science and Electrical Engineering.

It would be very helpful to have business leaders share some detail with pupils about their experiences in school, their journey to where they are now and the skills and qualities they would be looking for if they were to hire a school leaver. The intention of this event is to inspire our pupils and motivate them to use their free time wisely while also offering a variety of perspectives of potential future careers
