Event description

How can we design an enterprise that improves human and environmental wellbeing?

There are 180 students in Year 9, who will be working on their big idea for this term: Enterprise: The ability to make money through development of products and situations appropriate to different markets requires application of certain skills. They will spend the day off timetable working on a project outlined below:

“Driving question: How can we design an enterprise that improves human and environmental wellbeing?

This term’s big idea is about enterprise. In the future you may want to start your own business, work for a new start-up or in an established industry that requires innovative thinking. Today, you will work on producing a business plan and present to your peers. You will also pitch your idea to a panel of business entrepreneurs have set up and run Social Enterprises.This is a competition and there will be prizes for house finalist and overall winners.

Your business plan should be for a product, service or an idea that leads to improvements in social or environmental wellbeing. At the end of the day you should use the following roadmap to help you complete your business plan.
