Event description

Inspire our students in Computing/STEM

We have a small group of six S6 pupils looking to work on Computing / STEM based projects in their free time throughout the next academic year. In the past pupils have built Raspberry Pi based weather stations, developed mobile phone apps for S1 classes, launched a balloon to near space with a Rapsberry Pi to take photos.

These are very academic pupils, and the purpose of this group work is to allow them to work in teams on real life projects with a view to building problem solving skills, resilience etc. It would really help the pupils to hear from people in industry who could endorse the importance of these skills and offer them an insight into some real world problems that they could consider investigating through the next year.
