Event description

Careers in Engineering

We would welcome visitors to speak our Year 10 pupils about careers in Engineering. Most think of engineering as car mechanics and/or dirty, heavy, metal-bashing. We would like someone from industry to explain the different types of engineering, especially how it is a suitable and desirable career for girls and those with a great eye for design.
We wish to inspire more pupils to consider Higher and Advanced Apprenticeships as an option when they leave school and keynote speakers from founders4schools would be a great opportunity to take this forward.
