The event was created by Tracey Patrick for 250 students at Balfron High School aged Age 15 - 17.
Event description
Future Pathways day
The Careers Fair part of the day runs from 11am-1pm for our S5 and S6 pupils - during this careers fair our pupils have the chance to speak to visitors (people who work) for around 15 minutes - these visitors come in and sit a desk and talk to small groups of pupils about their career/career path. Our pupils then move to another desk and speak to someone else for another 15 minutes and so on for the 2 hours.
We are also looking for a speaker for a clot in the schedule at 10.10am - 11am, who could do a presentation to our entire S5 and S6 in our theatre for around 40-50 minutes on career/resilience/lifelong learning.
