Event description

Can you inspire the next Alan Sugar?

On the 23rd May, from 8:30 - 3:40 students from years 5-8 at Gamlingay Village College will take part in a World of Work day!

The day will start with a What's My Line activity - students will ask you questions until they can guess your job!

Following this, they will move into the enterprise day, where students will break off into teams to create and plan a business pitch to the volunteers. You will be helping by giving hints and tips ("how would you market this?" "What is your target audience?") Then in the afternoon, students will present their pitches to you and a winner will be chosen!

A very inspiring event, that often reaches students who don't engage as much in a classroom setting. Can you inspire tomorrow's business creators?
