The event was created by Liz Gers for 150 students at Brentford School for Girls aged Age 12 - 13.
Event description
Y8 careers speed network event
Students sit in groups of 5 or 6 - ask questions of the professional ( there will be about 25 in total) for 5-6 minutes, a bell rings and they move onto the next professional. The event lasts from 1.30 - 3.30pm with the option of joining us for a buffet lunch to network with other stakeholders from the local and wider community. PLEASE NOTE THE TIMINGS ARE FROM 1.30 - 3.30PM
The event which takes place in our school hall - is to help them think about all the different careers that are available as they make there option choices (They do this no win Y8 not Y9)
