The event was created by Sefika Mehmet for 75 students at Kelmscott School aged Age 14 - 16.

Event description

Professional Women's Day

Aim: To demonstrate the scope of opportunities available to our girls and encourage them to aspire to professional careers by meeting successful and professional women from a wide range of industries and organisations.

Activity: Each guest will have 4 minutes with each pupil. The day will follow a “speed dating style” with pupils rotating between each guest every 4 minutes. Pupils might ask questions about the path taken into roles, qualifications needed , average starting salary and any other useful information e.g. volunteering/ internships etc.
