Event description

Year 11 Pathway Day, Role Model Speakers

We hope you can help raise aspiration and awareness with our students of the high impact careers they can pursue. We'd like you to demonstrate the relevance and connection of what is taught in the classroom with the jobs you are creating right now. It'll be an opportunity for our students to gain an understanding of the skills and roles that are needed in today's economy.

You will be speaking to Year 11 top set students who are likely to go on to study A-Levels and then University. During the event, students will be split into groups of 3 (approx. 30 in each group). We are organising a timetable of events for students, which includes University Presentations and a visit to our Post 16.

The event will run from 9am until 1.45pm approx. 3 sessions will run simultaneously for each group of students throughout the day. I.e. 3 x Uni Presentations, 3 x Post 16 Visits and 3 x Role Model Speaker sessions.

Therefore, we would like speakers to stay throughout the event and speak to students in each session. Teas, coffees and lunch will be provided.
