Event description
Careers Insights - GCSE options and careers paths
St. Michael's Catholic School is a successful secondary school and as part of our careers programme we offer year 9 students the opportunity to hear from industry professionals about the world of work Today . Our students are seeking to gain an insight into which GCSE subjects are essential and which would be useful for certain careers. We would like each speaker to introduce themselves, provide a very brief summary about their career path, why they have chosen it, and tell a story about their current work (you can include a funny story). We look forward to hearing from you.
Your presentation will be to a class of 30 year 9 students in their classroom, approx 25 minutes including questions and answers.
