Event description

A-Level Engineering student support and working with your company / UCL academy

I have 6 Engineering students ( A level ) as part of their project they must work with an Engineer and investigate what they do.

These tasks include gaining detailed information on;
1. Legislation and documentation in engineering
2. The environmental impact of engineering activities
3. The application of technology in engineering
4. Evaluation and modification

The time frame in which this will happen will be between November 2016-January 2017 (During this time frame we will only be in contact a few times)

These would be the requirements

• Two meetings (one hour) - At the start & end of the partnership
• Information on your personal job description
• Assessability to the project that we can physically see and include in our work
• Allowing us to take photos of the project
• A shadowing experience - if possible
• Access to potential documentation such as engineering drawings, gantt charts, rules & regulations, standards, product specification, operating manuals, repair manuals, quality manuals and work procedures. - We understand that you may have confidentiality rules that will not enable you to share such documentations, however any confidential information will be blurred/blanked out when presented in our work.
