Event description

Computer Science UCAS Visit

Thank you for helping to prepare students in your community for high impact careers in growth sectors that will be relevant when they leave education.

Workplace visits give students the opportunity to learn first-hand about a company and its career requirements, through a visit to a company in the career field of their choice. They help a student to learn about the work environment and culture of the company, and whether a field or industry is right for them. This visit would be for our students who are interested in studying Computer Science at university; to give them a sense of what kind of work their degree might lead to.

They are also an excellent opportunity for a business to help the future workforce they need to hire to gain relevant skills.
