Event description

Employability Skills - what are they and why are they important?

The aim is to make our students aware why employers want particular skills, not just good grades. It'll be an opportunity for our students to hear from professionals what is expected of them and to gain an understanding of the skills and roles that are needed in today's economy. You will share the time with another speaker and deliver a presentation/talk to a group of 30 students in their classroom, approx 20 minutes followed by questions and answers. We conclude with a plenary inviting students to share what they have learnt in that session and how they are going to use it.
