The event was created by Jo Bishop for 10 students at City and Islington Sixth Form College aged Age 15 - 18.

Event description

Inspire our students with a workplace visit. Students will have varied career interests but it would be good for them to learn about career opportunities and hear from employers about how to prepare for their next steps.

Thank you for helping to prepare students in your community for high impact careers in growth sectors that will be relevant when they leave education.

Workplace visits give students the opportunity to learn first-hand about a company and its career requirements, through a visit to a company in the career field of their choice. They help a student to learn about the work environment and culture of the company, and whether a field or industry is right for them.

They are also an excellent opportunity for a business to help the future workforce they need to hire to gain relevant skills.
