Fundraising & Marketing Intern

You are ready to be scrappy, resourceful, admit when you do not know the answer, and go and find it. You want to shake the tree, rather than look for the lowest hanging fruit.

You want to work at F4S because you realised how school was so disconnected from the real world. You believe that there is a better way to make kids excited about their future and help them enjoy and fulfilling productive lives.

You believe that schools can use technology to change what they do from the inside-out. You have exciting ideas to bring to the table to help us see things differently and do better. I look forward to working with you.

About Founders4Schools

Founders4Schools is an award winning educational-tech charity working towards a vision where children and young people are given the best start in life, no matter their background. We connect children and young people with inspirational role models to improve their aspirations, to fulfil their potential and to prepare them for the rapidly changing world of work.

We have created a simple, free-to-use digital platform which enables educators all over the UK to connect with business leaders and professionals in their local community. In as little as 4 minutes, educators from primary schools, secondary schools and colleges, organise a programme of Student-Employer Encounters for their students, such as careers fairs, mentoring sessions, interview practice and career talks, helping to expand their horizons and putting them on the path to a brighter future.

Volunteer Purpose

This paid internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience at an innovative and fast-paced charity.

This position will be of particular interest to someone wanting to gain knowledge and experience of fundraising and marketing as well as gaining an understanding of both the not-for-profit sector and the start-up/scale-up tech sector. It’s an exciting environment to work in.

Interns at our London office will work closely with our Fundraising Team to help increase our income and raise our profile as a charity. Interns will be given the opportunity to develop a variety of skills, and are given diverse responsibilities which make a tangible difference within the charity.
