Skills Development Scotland is the national skills body supporting the people and businesses of Scotland to develop and apply their skills. One key area for SDS is Helping Young People find Rewarding Careers and on their myworldofwork website they offer a marketplace where you can search for opportunities posted by employers or use Founders4Schools to find and invite business leaders to a school.

We are delighted to report that Skills Development Scotland (via the Marketplace ) have referred 22 volunteers to us and that 13 of these volunteers have already accepted invitations from educators to meet with students.

Together Founders4Schools and Skills Development Scotland have facilitated 13,168 student-employer encounters, with educators having brought 77 business leaders into contact with 4,650 students so they are better prepared for the world of work. Below you can see a map of the schools these educators are employed by.
